This course is more comprehensive than the Introductory Level course and is largely developed directly from OSHA’s Respirable Crystalline Silica in construction standard.
The student will learn about the basics of silica dust and respirable crystalline silica dust encountered during construction activities. Signs, Signals and Barricades for Construction Online Course Description: With vehicles, heavy machinery, other equipment, and numerous workers, unmarked construction site hazards pose significant danger. The Signs, Signals and Barricades course helps keep your team safe with a review of OSHA standards for construction worksite signage and barriers.
OSHA mandates that all signs, signals, and barricades conform to Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
